Pope County Historical Association
The purpose of the Pope County Historical Association is to tell the history of Pope County, Arkansas and it citizens. Association meetings are held on the second Friday of each month. Meetings are not held in December or January. The meetings are held in the cafeteria at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. All are invited. The meeting begins at 7:00 P.M., come early if want to eat.
March History Association meeting“The Odd, Weird and Bizarre” will be the subject of the Pope County Historical Association meeting Friday, April 11, at the St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center cafeteria in Russellville.
Russell Baker of the Arkansas History Commission will present the program. It will be about odd materials in the archives at the commission offices at Little Rock.
No reservations are needed for the meal, which begins at 6 p.m. The meeting, at 7, is free and open to the public.
